VLVT KARAOKE CONTEST INFROMATION & RULES

Each Tuesday in June Velvet Lounge will host an all new Karaoke contest. Now you can win cash and prizes for singing with us! You don't have to be part of the contest however to sing karaoke!

Bring your friends to vote and cheer you on!

1. Contest will run 5 weeks (4 qualifying 1 final).
   Tuesday, July 10
   Tuesday, July 17
   Tuesday, July 24
   Tuesday, July 31
   Tuesday, August 7 - FINALS
   
   
2. Top 5 winners each week will qualify for the final! Addiionally, the top winners each week will receieve:
   Weekly 1st Place: $25 Cash
   Other prizes for:
   AUDIENCE FAVORITE
   JUDGES FAVORITE
   Top 5 continue to Finals for $400 in cash prizes!
   
   
3. Entry fee of only $5.
   
   
4. Winner will be determined by judges and audience votes.
   1. Judge: 1-10 stage presence (costume and performance really does count) 1-15 vocal ability.
   2. Audience: They will cast votes for the top 3 contestants. (3 Points to the favorite performer, 2 points to the 2nd favorite and 1
      point each to the third place). The points are then added to the judges score.
   3. Judges will comment on each performance to help the
      performer improve.
      
      
5. The final will be held the 1st Tuesday of August
   1st place: $150 Cash
   2nd place: $75 Cash
   3rd place: $50 Cash
